Participants are selected from a global applicant pool spanning over 150 countries and attend one of multiple two-week academic sessions in June-July, each focused on a distinct discipline track.
The program combines lectures by Yale faculty and visiting scholars, small-group seminars, collaborative research projects, leadership workshops, and site visits. Students are placed in cohorts with peers from diverse national and cultural backgrounds, fostering interdisciplinary thinking, global citizenship, and academic leadership. Each session offers deep engagement with a specific subject area, including Applied Science and Engineering, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Economics and Global Affairs, Humanities and the Arts, International Affairs and Security, Politics and Society, and Sustainability, Energy and Environment.
