How WiWit Verifies Opportunities

WiWit is a directory of checked opportunities for children in India. Each of the 1079+ opportunities from 508+ organisations is verified against the organiser's official source before it appears. Here is exactly how we check, what "verified" means, and how we keep listings current.

Checked against official sources

Before a listing is published, its key details — eligibility, dates, fees and benefits — are checked against the organiser's own official website or announcement. The sources used are recorded with the listing, and many opportunity pages show them under "How we verified this".

Reviewed before publishing

Every opportunity passes through a structured review in our content system before it goes live. Listings that cannot be confirmed against a credible source are not published. We do not list anything we could not check.

Kept up to date

Opportunities change — dates shift, new editions open, old ones close. We re-check and update listings on an ongoing basis, and each page shows when it was last reviewed so you can see how current the information is.

Easy to flag errors

If something looks wrong or out of date, you can tell us and we will check it. Keeping the directory accurate is a continuous job, and parent feedback is part of how we do it.

What "verified" means on WiWit

A verified listing is one whose details we confirmed against a credible, official source at the time of review. It is not an endorsement, and it does not guarantee a place — eligibility and selection are always decided by the organiser. WiWit helps you discover and compare opportunities; you apply or register on the organiser's own website. WiWit never charges parents and never adds registration steps of its own.

Spotted something out of date? Let us know and we'll check it.
