By accessing or using WiWit ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform.
Description of Service
WiWit is a platform that helps parents discover opportunities for their children, including competitions, scholarships, workshops, and programs. We provide:
- Opportunity discovery and matching
- Deadline tracking and reminders
- Certificate and achievement management
- Community features for parents
User Accounts
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- You must not share your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload, post, or share content that:
- Is illegal, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or invasive of another person's privacy
- Is harmful to a child or relates to the exploitation or endangerment of children
- Infringes another person's intellectual property or other rights
- Deceives, misleads, or impersonates another person
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems or uses automated methods without our permission
- Violates any applicable law in India or the jurisdiction you are in
We may remove content that violates these terms, and where required by law or a valid court or government order, we will act on such requests within the timelines prescribed by applicable law.
Content
Your Content
- You retain ownership of content you upload.
- You grant WiWit a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and serve your content on the Platform for the sole purpose of providing the service you have chosen to use (for example, rendering a certificate on a profile you have shared, or showing your post in another user's feed).
- We will not sell, sublicense, or publish your content outside the Platform.
- You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate third-party rights.
Our Content
- All Platform content is protected by intellectual property laws
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
Opportunity Listings
- We verify opportunities to the best of our ability but do not guarantee accuracy
- We are not responsible for the actions of opportunity providers
- You should verify opportunity details before participating
Limitation of Liability
WiWit is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or profits
- Actions of third parties on the Platform
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you can contact our Grievance Officer to raise concerns about content on WiWit or the functioning of our Platform:
