About
The Air Force Association India is a welfare body that supports serving and retired personnel of the Indian Air Force, their families and the wider air force community. The association is headquartered at Air Force Station New Delhi on Race Course and operates through branches across the country. The Marshal of the Air Force and Mrs Arjan Singh Trust was registered on 22 September 2004 and functions under the Air Force Association. The trust was set up in honour of Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh and disburses scholarships and welfare grants funded by corpus contributions and partnerships with public sector undertakings. The association administers a portfolio of scholarships for wards of air warriors, air veterans, NC(E) and DSC personnel posted at air force bases, and widows. Beneficiaries include school students from Class IX onwards as well as those pursuing undergraduate professional and non-professional courses. In partnership with ONGC, the association also runs the Marshal Arjan Singh ONGC Scholarship for school students, alongside the Marshal Arjan Singh Centenary Scholarship and several sports and academic awards processed annually through its head office.
