About This Opportunity
The Free Online Drawing and Painting Competition is a recurring national-level art competition organized by Dessin Academy, one of India's leading fine arts institutes. The competition is exclusively for students in India and is conducted entirely online, making it accessible to participants across the country.
Students from LKG to 7th Standard can participate across multiple age-appropriate categories, each with a unique theme. Participants create their artwork using any medium — oil pastel, poster colour, acrylic, watercolour, pencils, or coloured pencils — and submit a photograph of their work through an online form. All artwork must be original; copied or traced work is disqualified.
Judging is based on creativity and originality of the depicted theme, artistic composition, and for younger students, colour scheme. The top 4 winners in each category receive prizes, and all participants receive e-certificates sent to their registered email address.
Dessin Academy runs multiple editions of this competition throughout the year, including both free and paid versions. The free editions have no registration fee, making them an excellent opportunity for young artists to showcase their talent and gain recognition at the national level.
