WiWit for Classes

Help for classes

WiWit for Classes takes the place of the WhatsApp group, the register and the fee notebook. Every parent gets your updates in the WiWit app, and a parent looking for a class near them finds yours.

The portal, in one picture

  1. 1Home: what to do now, today's classes, the money to collect.
  2. 2Students: the parents who joined, each child, your batches.
  3. 3Attendance: today's register.
  4. 4Fees: what to collect, and what you charge.
  5. 5More: Messages, Batches, Announcements, Notes and materials, Events, Insights, My page and My details. On a computer the same list is on the left.

Start in three steps

  1. Sign in

Open classes.wiwitness.com on your phone or computer. Your mobile number and the OTP from the SMS. No password.

  2. Answer four questions

What kind of classes, what they are called, your name, and where. One screen each.

  3. Share your class code

Setup ends on your code. Send it to your class group. Each parent adds their own child in the WiWit app, and you tap Add to my class.

1.Students

  1. 1Your class code. A parent types it into the WiWit app, or scans the QR.
  2. 2You share, Parent adds child, You approve. That is the whole way in. No typing names and numbers.
  3. 3Share with parents sends a ready message with the join link. Print for the door.
  • When a parent adds their child, Home says 1 parent added their child. Tap it, pick the batch, and tap Add to my class. The parent is told at once.
  • Batches are your groups, with their class days, ages and fee. Attendance and fees work batch by batch, so put each child in one.

2.Attendance

  1. 1Today's register: Present or Absent for each child, or Mark all present and change the few.
  2. 2Save attendance. Each parent sees their own child's record in the WiWit app.

A class you forgot waits under One class is still to mark. Insights reads the registers and names what stands out: a child missing three classes in a row, a batch behind the rest.

3.Fees

  1. 1What you charge: set a fee once on a batch. Each month's fee then appears for every child on its own, and reaches the parent with your UPI ID.
  2. 2To collect: every open fee. Remind sends it again. Record payment when the money comes, by UPI or cash, and the family gets a receipt.
  3. 3A parent who tapped I have paid in the app shows here until you record it, or say it did not arrive.

Your UPI ID goes under My details. Without it, a reminder gives a parent no way to pay. Automatic payments there lets a UPI payment land in your bank and record itself, after a one-time KYC with Cashfree.

4.Messages

  1. 1Everything you sent this family, each with its kind. Two teal ticks: seen.
  2. 2What the parent writes back. Only you see it.
  3. 3Write, send a photo, or hold the mic for a voice message.
  • Announcements: one message to everyone, a batch, or a few children. Each one shows who got it and who is Not on WiWit yet.
  • Notes and materials: a file or a YouTube link, shared with the batches you choose. Parents find it under Class info in the app.

5.Events

  • Add event with the date and venue, then Tell parents. Parents answer Coming or Cannot come, and Who is coming keeps the count.
  • After the day, Add photos and a video link on the same event, and send them to the families.

6.Your class page and your details

  • My page is what a parent looking for a class near them sees in the WiWit app: your name, one line about your class, your batches with their days and ages, pictures. Switch on Parents can see your page when it is ready. A parent can Message the class from it before joining.
  • My details holds the name and type of your classes, your area, your UPI ID, and Who runs the classes: add someone by mobile number and they see the same students, registers, fees and messages.
  • Notify me, also under My details, so your phone tells you when a parent writes or asks to join.

Frequently asked questions

A parent says the code does not work.

Open My page and check that Open for new students is on. The code works only while it is. If your register already has the parent's number, they need no code: the WiWit app offers them your class by name.

Can a parent see the other children?

No. Each family sees its own child only: attendance, fees, and the conversation with you. Nothing about any other family.

Does WiWit take a cut of the fees?

No. WiWit charges nothing on a fee. A parent pays you directly by UPI, or with automatic payments through Cashfree, where a UPI payment also costs nothing.

Can I run this with someone else?

Yes. Under My details, Who runs the classes, tap Add someone with their mobile number. They sign in with it and see the same students, registers, fees and messages.

The page to send families is Your child's class in WiWit. It shows a parent how to join and what reaches them after.
