Competitions, Olympiads & Scholarships for Class 1

Olympiads, competitions and scholarships that are genuinely open to Class 1 students in India, each one checked against the organizer's official information. WiWit lists 220 verified class 1 competitions in India from 101 organizations. They include options 95 available online, 40 free to enter. Last reviewed August 2026.

Class 1 is where a child meets their first competition, and the point is enjoyment rather than ranking. The listings here are the ones that genuinely accept six and seven year olds: drawing and colouring contests, storytelling and fancy-dress events, early general-knowledge quizzes and beginner maths olympiads with picture-based papers. Most are school-mediated or online with a parent helping, and many are free. WiWit verifies each listing against the organizer's official information, so you can see at a glance which ones really open at Class 1 instead of stating a wide range and quietly starting later.
