Your child's class, in WiWit

Your child's class sends its updates to the WiWit app. Join once with the code your class gave you. After that, every message, event date, study material and fee for your child comes to one place. You see only your own child.

Where it lives

  1. 1Prepare, in the bar at the bottom.
  2. 2Classes, at the top. Every class your children go to is listed here.
  3. 3Join a class with a code, the way in for a new class.

1.What you get

Each class is a conversation, like a chat. Everything the class sends for your child is in it.

  1. 1What the teacher writes: announcements and notes.
  2. 2Events, with the date and the place. Tap an answer. You can change it until the day.
  3. 3Study material, videos and recordings.
  4. 4Fees, with the amount and the due date.
  5. 5Photos and recordings after an event.
  6. 6Your messages. Only the class sees them.

Under the class name, one line shows the next class and any fee due. A teal number counts unread messages. An amber chip, such as Reply needed, means something waits on you.

2.Join the class

  1. Get WiWit and add your child

Tap the link your class sent, or get the app below. Sign in with your phone number and add your child. A class can only add a child who is on WiWit.

  2. Enter the class code

Open Prepare, then Classes, and tap Join a class with a code. Type the code, for example NRITYA-K7, and tap Find my class. If you came from the class's link, the class is already found. If the class already has your phone number, it appears here by name. Tap it, no code needed.

  3. Say which child, then ask to join

Pick your child. If the class asks, pick the batch. Tap Ask to join. The class checks the name and confirms. Until then the row says Waiting for the class to confirm. You get a message when your child is added.

3.Message the class

  • Type at the bottom and send. Hold the mic to record a voice message, release to send.
  • Long press a message to Reply to it, Copy it, or see whether the class has Seen it.
  • Only the class sees your messages. Other parents never see them, and you never see theirs.

Have a question before joining? On the join screen, tap See the class page, then Message the class. Ask about timings, fees or a trial class. The reply comes to the same place.

4.Events

  • When the class asks, the invitation has two buttons: will come, with your child's name, and Cannot come. Tap one.
  • You can change your answer until the day of the event. Tap Change.
  • Not every event asks. Many are information only, with no buttons.
  • After the event, the class's photos and recordings appear in the conversation. Tap a photo to see it full screen. A recording opens on YouTube.

5.Study material, videos and photos

  • Tap any study material to open it in WiWit.
  • Some are marked View only. They open in WiWit but cannot be downloaded or shared. The class decides this.
  • A video shows its size before you tap, so you know what it costs on mobile data.
  • Everything the class has shared is also listed under Class info, in Materials.

6.Class info

Tap the class name at the top of the conversation. This is where you see how your child is doing in the class.

  1. 1The class, your child, the batch, and since when.
  2. 2At a glance: the next class, the fee state, and attendance.
  3. 3Every record in full: fees, class times, each day marked Present or Absent, the next events, materials, payments, past events with their photos, and the class's own page.

7.A second child

A class knows your family, not a code. To add a brother or sister to the same class, open Class info and tap Add another child. The class confirms, as before.

Every child has a separate conversation with the class.

8.Notifications

  • Class messages reach your phone as notifications, even when the app is closed. Allow notifications when WiWit asks.
  • To quiet one class, long press its row in Classes and tap Mute notifications. Its messages still arrive. Your phone stays silent.
  • When the classes end, tap Archive in the same menu. The class moves under Archived at the top of the list.
  • To turn off all class notifications, open Settings, then Notifications, and switch off Messages from a class.

9.Fees

When a fee is due, a card appears in the conversation and the amount shows under the class name. Tap Pay. What happens next depends on how the class takes payment:

  • The class shows its UPI ID: tap Copy UPI ID, pay from any UPI app, then come back and tap I have paid.
  • The class takes payment through WiWit: tap Pay now. Your UPI app opens. Once you pay, the fee shows as paid by itself.
  • The class has no UPI ID: pay the way you already do, then tap Mark as paid.

When you mark a fee as paid, you can add the UPI reference or a screenshot. The class confirms, and the fee shows as Paid. Every payment stays listed under Class info, in Payments.

WiWit charges you nothing. The fee goes to the class.

Frequently asked questions

The app says no class has this code. What now?
Check the code. It has letters, digits and at most one hyphen, for example NRITYA-K7. If it still fails, ask the class for the code again.
My request has been waiting for days.
The class confirms each request by hand. Ask the teacher to open WiWit for Classes and confirm your child. To withdraw, open the join screen and tap Cancel request.
The class says it is not taking new students.
The class has closed joining for now. Ask the teacher directly. Once the class opens joining again, the same code works.
My child's class is not on WiWit yet.
On the Classes tab, tap Invite your child's class to WiWit. It sends the teacher one message with the link to set up the class on WiWit. After that, the class sends you a code.
Do other parents see my child?
No. Each family has its own conversation with the class. The class sees your child. Other parents see nothing about your child, and you see nothing about theirs.
