About This Opportunity

The Avanti Fellows JEE/NEET Free Coaching Program is a fully sponsored entrance-exam preparation initiative for academically strong students from government schools and low-income families across India. This program, run by Avanti Fellows in partnership with state governments and the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya network, provides intensive coaching for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for engineering and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medical admissions.

Instruction is delivered through self-paced digital learning, online live classes, and in-person Centres of Excellence. Students typically join in Class 11 and continue through Class 12, receiving comprehensive mentoring and college counselling at no cost. The program targets students from government schools, residential public schools, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, prioritizing those from low-income backgrounds.

Academic requirement

JEE Main aspirants need at least 75 per cent in the Class 12 board examination (65 per cent for SC/ST) or top-20-percentile ranking. NEET aspirants need a minimum 50 per cent aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English (40 per cent for SC/ST/OBC). Students are admitted through an Avanti-run diagnostic and selection process.

  • Demonstrated academic aptitude in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology
  • Currently enrolled in Class 11 or Class 12 at a partner government school, residential public school, or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya
  • Maintain regular attendance during diagnostic classes and weekly tests to confirm enrolment
