Rules and guidelines
- Each category has a fixed challenge duration of ten to twelve minutes with one hundred multiple-choice questions.
- Scoring is plus ten for correct, minus two for incorrect, and zero for skipped.
- Use of external calculators, abacus, soroban, or any unauthorised aids is not permitted.
- Decisions of the LiveMCL organisers are final.

The first edition was held on-ground in Manama, Bahrain in April 2025, and the second edition is scheduled as an online competition, allowing participation from a wider international audience, including India.
The competition is conducted entirely through the LiveMCL app on participants' Android or iOS devices, with multiple-choice questions, live leaderboards, and instant scoring. The event is structured into three age categories — Challenger (6-8 years), Master (9-11 years), Grandmaster (12 to 15 years) and Grandmaster Open (16 and above) — each with a duration of ten to twelve minutes and one hundred multiple-choice questions.
