The Grandmaster Open category features a five minute Standard Mandatory Challenge of one hundred questions, with optional five minute sprint challenges in addition and subtraction, and multiplication.
Top three finishers receive a trophy, medal, and certificate; ranks four through thirty earn a medal and certificate. Super toppers qualify directly for Round 2, the Grand Finale of LiveMCL's Mental Math World Cup, giving the Grandmaster Open category a clear progression pathway into the global LiveMCL competition ecosystem.
