About This Opportunity
The Classmate All Rounder Competition (CAR) is a national-level multi-skill talent hunt by ITC Classmate, ITC Limited's stationery brand. The Senior Category targets students from upper-secondary classes and evaluates them on a holistic spectrum that goes well beyond academics.
The competition assesses participants across multiple dimensions including academic performance, co-curricular activities, physical fitness, talent, emotional quotient, intelligence quotient, digital quotient, community focus, and life skills. This multi-faceted evaluation is designed to identify well-rounded young achievers who excel both inside and outside the classroom.
The contest is structured across three sequential rounds: a school round conducted within registered schools, a city round bringing together top performers from each city, and a national finale held in person in New Delhi. The 2024 edition reached over 2.1 lakh students from approximately 700 schools across 14 cities, with the national finale featuring a team-based format where the winning Senior team of four students received a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 each along with the Classmate All Rounder trophy.
Participation is mediated through schools, which register and nominate students. The competition has become one of the most recognised inter-school multi-skill platforms in India and serves as a stage for students to demonstrate balanced personality development.
