About this opportunity
Design Thinking for Young Minds is a two-day, day-scholar workshop at IIT Bombay's IDC School of Design for Grades 8 to 12 students, introducing the design thinking framework through hands-on studio activities.
The workshop covers the five stages of design thinking: Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Activities include observation exercises, problem selection, ideation, prototyping, and testing, building toward a final project showcase.
Sessions are led by Prof. Nishant Sharma at the Design Thinking Studio inside the Rahul Bajaj Technology Innovation Centre (RBTIC), home to IIT Bombay's IDC School of Design. The workshop is a day-scholar format with no overnight stay included, and participants receive an IIT Bombay Educational Outreach certificate of participation.
