Open to school students enrolled in the school they represent during the academic year. Squads consist of 4 main players, 1 reserve and 1 captain. Entries are made through FIDE member federations (AICF for India).

Entry, accommodation and travel arrangements are administered by FIDE and the FIDE member federation. Designated qualifying teams receive full-board accommodation, airport transfers and economy-class flights as per the official invitation.
About this opportunity
The FIDE ISCF World Schools Team Championship — Asian Continental Stage is a regional qualifying tournament organized by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) and the FIDE International Schools Chess Federation (ISCF).
Each squad consists of four main players, one reserve and one non-playing captain, with at least one boy and one girl on the team (with limited exceptions for single-gender schools). Indian schools enter through the All India Chess Federation as the FIDE member federation.
The tournament is played as an eight-round Swiss-system team event with fixed board order across school teams from across the Asian continent. Continental winners progress to the FIDE WSTC Grand Final later in the cycle. Designated qualifying teams receive support from the organizers including full-board accommodation, airport transfers and economy-class flights.
