Eligibility

Award
Scholarships up to ₹300 Crores Prize Pool
Scholarships worth over ₹300 Crores are available on the FIITJEE program and hostel fees. Additionally, cash scholarships exceeding ₹15 Crores are awarded to exceptionally performing students at both territory and national levels. These are disbursed based on projected success in targeted competitive/scholastic exams and declared with FTRE results. For certain classes, cash scholarships are divided into quarterly installments.

How to apply
- 1Register online via the official FIITJEE website (fiitjee.com/ftre) or in person at a nearby FIITJEE center.
- 2Registration can be completed up to two days before the chosen exam date.
Rules and guidelines
- Students must appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 to be eligible for cash scholarships, program fee waivers, and hostel fee waivers.
- Cash scholarships and fee waivers for Classes 8, 9, 10, and 11 are decided based on combined performance in Paper 1 (40% weightage) and Paper 2 (60% weightage), subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in each subject of both papers.
- Minimum attendance of 90% and good performance in phase tests during the course may be a criterion for continuity of quarterly cash scholarship disbursement.
- Students can avail only one scholarship (including cash scholarships) during their entire academic session of the program they join at FIITJEE.
Technology requirements
- For Computer Based Test (CBT) mode: Access to a computer at a designated test center.
- For Online Proctored mode: A computer with a stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone for remote proctoring.

Fee details
Registration fees vary by mode: Computer Based Test (CBT Centre): ₹350; Offline (Pen & Paper Centre): ₹500; Online Proctored (can be taken from anywhere): ₹600. If a student enrolls in a FIITJEE program, this fee may be adjusted in the program fee.

Selection process
Scholarships and fee waivers are decided based on performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2, subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in each subject of both papers. A common merit list is prepared based on aggregate marks and individual subject marks. If total marks are the same, higher marks in Math, then Physics, then Chemistry determine a higher rank. Students who do not clear individual subject cut-off marks as well as the grand total cut-off marks will not qualify for the merit list.
