About This Opportunity

GenWise GW Explorers is a two-week intensive academic enrichment program designed specifically for gifted students entering grades 6 and 7. The program provides 60 hours of hands-on, inquiry-based learning across STEM and humanities disciplines, fostering curiosity and independent thinking in academically talented children.

The first week focuses on Mathematics, Science, and Design and Technology with a STEM emphasis. Students design their own experiments, make predictions, measure results, and uncover the mathematical principles behind scientific phenomena. The second week shifts to humanities, covering Nature, Society and Individual, along with Tools for Thinking and Communication.

The program is invitation-only, available to students who qualify as Gold, Silver, or Bronze Scholars on the Ei-ASSET Talent Search assessment. GenWise programs are modeled along the lines of Johns Hopkins CTY and Northwestern CTD, adapted to the Indian context, and are part of the Gifted India Network.
