About This Opportunity
The Global Changemaker Fellowship is a structured virtual leadership program run by Connecting Dreams Foundation that develops a pipeline of young social change leaders working on community-based challenges aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The fellowship combines training, workshops, mentorship and coaching delivered fully online so participants can continue their studies or jobs.
The program is open to students in school, college or university as well as working professionals between the ages of 13 and 30 who are already founding or leading an initiative addressing a community problem. Applicants need basic English proficiency and an existing organisation or working model demonstrating commitment to community development.
Fellows commit roughly 8 to 10 hours per week across weekly assignments, training sessions, workshops and one-on-one mentorship meetings, with 100 percent attendance expected. Selection happens through a four-stage process covering form review, team interview, jury presentation and final announcement, and around 30 fellows are selected per region each year.
Over the program, fellows develop adaptive leadership, systems thinking, pitching, storytelling, proposal writing and networking skills, and on completion join a lifelong global community of changemakers with continued mentorship and alumni network access.
