About this opportunity
The Global Entrepreneurship Olympiad (GEO), organized by ThinkStartup and the Global Knowledge Foundation, cultivates young minds and fosters innovation and entrepreneurship across India. This initiative aligns with national policies like the New Education Policy (NEP), Startup India, Make in India, and Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
Open to all Indian school students in grades 4-12, the competition is divided into Junior (Grades 4-6), Middle (Grades 7-9), and Senior (Grades 10-12) categories. Participants should have a keen interest in entrepreneurship and innovative thinking. No specific academic prerequisites exist beyond the specified grade levels.
Participants develop valuable skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, digital and financial literacy, leadership, and communication. Top performers receive national recognition, certificates, and a fully paid educational trip to ISRO for an award ceremony. Schools and teachers are also recognized for their support and student participation.
The Olympiad features a three-tiered format: a preliminary multiple-choice question exam, a practical entrepreneurship challenge where students design and sell a product or service, and a final interview round. This structured approach ensures a holistic evaluation of each student's entrepreneurial potential and practical business skills.
