How to apply
- 1Participants must register on the official Heartfulness website. After registration, they can upload their scanned essay (PDF, max 3MB) and a scanned age proof document (PDF, max 1MB) through the provided submission link. Institutional participants may submit through their school coordinator, while direct participants use the direct submission portal. An enrolment number is provided upon successful submission.
Rules and guidelines
- Only one essay submission per participant is allowed.
- Essays must be typed or legibly handwritten on A4-size paper using black or blue ink.
- The essay must reflect the author's personal experience or views on the topic.
- The total word count must be mentioned after the concluding paragraph.
- Plagiarism from any source will lead to immediate disqualification.

Essays are evaluated based on Theme introduction/interpretation (10%), Structure and flow (10%), Language (10%), Originality (20%), Relevance of ideas to the theme (40%), Research/attention to details (5%), and Conclusion (5%). Plagiarized essays will be rejected.

Selection is based on the jury's comprehensive evaluation of the submitted essay. Top performers may be invited for an interview as a final selection round for the highest awards.
