About This Opportunity
The Indian Robotics Olympiad (IRO) ROBO Adventures Techies online competition is the online category of a national robotics contest organised by ROBO-G for older children and teenagers. Participants take part remotely by submitting a video of their robot completing a set of missions.
The competition is open to students aged 10 to 15 years, who can take part individually or in teams of two supported by a coach. Each edition follows a themed challenge, and participants build a fully autonomous robot to complete missions on a printed challenge mat.
Students build their robot using LEGO Education robotics kits and may program it with any software. They record a single continuous video of the robot run and submit it online with a completed score sheet, where it is scored out of 150 points.
The online competition is evaluated separately from the in-person national event. All participants receive a graded medal certificate based on their score, helping students build robotics, programming and problem-solving skills.
