Rules and guidelines
- The examination is conducted online and must be taken from a location with a computer and good internet connectivity.
- Webcam proctoring with auto-image capture is used to ensure examination integrity.
- Full screen mode must be maintained during the examination to restrict focus to the examination window.
- Use of any unfair means, including recording the question paper or having another person visible in the camera, will result in disqualification.
- No repeat or extra examination attempts are provided.
- The decision of the International Olympiad Foundation is final in all matters.
- For classes 6-10, sections II and III have negative marking (-1) for incorrect answers.

Fee details
For students studying in India, the registration fee is ₹150 for each Olympiad. A 20% discount is available if a student selects 5 or more Olympiads. For students outside India, the fee is USD 8 per Olympiad, with a 20% discount for 5 or more Olympiads. Indian students whose parents were martyred during defense operations are exempt from fees. Fees once paid are non-refundable.
