About This Opportunity
The International Foundation Sanskrit Olympiad (IFSaO) is an annual online competition organized by the International Olympiad Foundation (IOF). It offers a unique platform for students to test and enhance their Sanskrit language proficiency and cultural understanding. The Olympiad aims to foster a deeper appreciation for Sanskrit, promoting essential reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills related to the language.
This Olympiad is open to all students from Classes 6 to 10, irrespective of gender. Participants can register either individually or through their schools, making it accessible to a wide range of students across India and globally. The competition is conducted entirely online, allowing students to conveniently take the exam from their home or any location with a computer and stable internet connection.
Successful participants receive various benefits, including certificates, medals, and trophies for top performers at zonal and international levels. The Olympiad provides a detailed Student Progress Report (SPR), enabling students to assess their academic standing at school, city, zonal, and international levels. It effectively cultivates a competitive spirit while significantly improving analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
IFSaO features an objective-type examination with multiple-choice questions. The question papers are specifically designed for each class and align with the syllabi of CBSE, ICSE, and various state boards. To aid in preparation, sample papers and previous year's question papers are often made available to registered students.
