The International GENIUS Robotics Olympiad is a prestigious global competition for high school students, focusing on environmental issues. This competition is open to high school students aged 13-18, typically in grades 8-12. Participants can form teams of up to three students, with each student participating in only one team. Proficiency in English is required for presentations, and finalists must be able to travel to the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, USA, for the in-person event.

Participants gain invaluable experience in robotics, engineering, and environmental science. The Olympiad offers global recognition, networking opportunities with peers and mentors from over 80 countries, and the chance to develop critical life skills such as teamwork, research, and problem-solving. Award winners are also eligible for significant renewable scholarships to the Rochester Institute of Technology.
