About This Opportunity
The International History Olympiad (IHO) is a prestigious biennial global competition organized by International Academic Competitions (IAC). It unites students worldwide to test and celebrate their knowledge of world history through diverse individual and team events, fostering a deeper appreciation for history and academic excellence.
This opportunity is open to students aged 7 to 18, typically covering grades 2 through 12. Participants must qualify through specific national or regional history competitions. Students aged 7-18 (Grades 2-12) are eligible. Qualification through national or regional history competitions is mandatory. The Olympiad is open to students from India and worldwide who meet the academic prerequisites. Students participate in 5 age groups. Varsity – Enrolled in grades 11 or 12, Junior Varsity – Enrolled in grades 9 or 10, Middle School – Enrolled in grades 7 or 8, Intermediate – Enrolled in grades 5 or 6 , and Elementary – Enrolled in grades 2, 3 or 4.
