About This Opportunity
The International Computer Olympiad (ICO), also known as Cyber Olympiad, Informatics Olympiad, or Digital Olympiad, is an annual competition organized by Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO) for students in Classes 1 to 10. The primary objective of this exam is to foster an interest in computer science, train young minds, and prepare them for the increasingly digital world.
The ICO focuses on cutting-edge computer technology and its fundamentals, covering topics such as computer usage, basic language, hardware, software, components, and applications like MS Paint, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access, alongside mental aptitude and logical thinking.
The exam is conducted offline in participating schools across India. It aims to develop analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of computer concepts beyond the regular school curriculum.
Participation in the ICO helps students assess their knowledge and reasoning abilities at a national and international level, providing a platform to shine and prepare for future competitive exams.
