About This Opportunity
The Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO) National Essay Olympiad (NESO) is an annual competition focused on improving students' communication and technical English skills. It aims to develop in-depth subject knowledge, strong grammar, effective sentence formation, and a rich vocabulary, preparing students for advanced academic standards and overall English proficiency.
NESO is open to students from Class 1 to Class 10 studying under CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or any other recognized board across India. Participation is primarily facilitated through school coordinators, who manage the registration process and submission of examination fees. Students should be well-versed in general awareness topics, social causes, and creative subjects relevant to their class level.
Participants gain valuable experience in essay writing, a critical skill for future higher studies and competitive entrance exams that often include essay sections. The olympiad offers various awards and prizes to acknowledge student effort and talent. It also helps students prepare for school tests and build a strong foundation in written communication.
