About This Opportunity
The IWP Jr Creative Writing Contest is a premier national competition designed to empower young Indian students to showcase their storytelling talents. Open to students in Grades 2-12, the contest invites participants to submit original short stories on any theme of their choice. This platform encourages pure imagination and literary expression, allowing budding writers to compete with peers at similar developmental stages through three distinct categories: Primary (Grades 2-5), Middle (Grades 6-9), and Senior (Grades 10-12).
Participants compete for a total prize pool of ₹1.5 Lakhs. Beyond monetary rewards, top winners achieve national recognition through publication in media and on the India Writing Project website. Every participant receives a detailed evaluation scorecard with personalized feedback from experienced editors, along with a verifiable e-certificate, ensuring a valuable learning experience for all entrants.
