Trophies and medals
In the First Stage, the top 10 in each zone get a medal. In the Final Stage, international ranks 1 to 5 win trophies and ranks 6 to 20 win medals.

Rules and guidelines
- Multiple-choice questions with 4 options and 1 correct answer
- From Grade 3, wrong answers carry 25% negative marking
- On paper, Senior KG and Grade 1 circle the answer, and from Grade 2 students fill an OMR sheet
- Online, the student logs in at least 15 minutes early with a photo ID, takes the exam alone and must not switch tabs
About this opportunity
The LogIQids Mental Aptitude Olympiad is a two-stage olympiad run by LogIQids. It builds logical reasoning, problem solving and analytical thinking through puzzles and brain teasers.
The school shares its student list, and LogIQids creates an account for each student and shares the login. Before the First Stage, students practice on up to 30 thinksheets on the LogIQids app or website. Solving at least 10 adds 10 bonus marks to the First Stage score, and at least 20 adds 20.
Each exam lasts 1 hour, with multiple-choice questions of 4 options: 25 questions in Senior KG, 30 in Grade 1 and 35 from Grade 2. From Grade 3, wrong answers carry 25% negative marking. The First Stage is held at the partner school, which confirms the date, mode and venue.
The First Stage is free. The top 30% of First Stage students may enter the Final Stage, which is optional and costs ₹499.
Every student gets a certificate of participation after the First Stage, and the top 10 in each zone get a medal.

Rounds and format
First Stage: a free exam at the partner school, with zonal ranks within each grade. Final Stage: optional, ₹499, for the top 30% of the First Stage, with international ranks.
How entries are judged
Normal questions carry 4 marks. LQ Champs Section questions, 20% of the paper, carry 8 marks. The paper is out of 120 marks in Senior KG, 144 in Grade 1 and 168 from Grade 2. There is no negative marking up to Grade 2; from Grade 3, wrong answers carry 25% negative marking.
Selection process
The top 30% of First Stage students may enter the Final Stage. First Stage ranks add up to 20 thinksheet bonus marks to the exam marks, within each grade. Final Stage ranks use the exam marks alone.
