About This Opportunity
Maths Beyond Limits (MBL) is a prestigious international mathematics program designed for gifted high school students worldwide. Held annually in Rycerka Dolna, Poland, this two-week residential camp aims to foster the development of young math enthusiasts by engaging them with interesting and challenging mathematical subjects.
It encourages participants to share their knowledge and passion, enhancing cooperation and integration within the global mathematical community.
The camp is primarily for students aged 15-19 who are currently in middle or high school. Participants are selected through a rigorous application process that includes a Qualifying Quiz with Olympic-style and exploratory problems, and an Applicant Questionnaire. While the camp itself is free for all participants, covering accommodation, food, and local transportation, families are responsible for international travel costs to Poland.
Participants will engage in various mathematical activities such as Mathematical Classes, Camper Talks, and Time Academic Unscheduled (TAU), alongside non-mathematical Evening Activities and sports. The curriculum delves into beautiful mathematical concepts outside the standard high school syllabus, covering diverse fields like number theory, geometry, and combinatorics. MBL provides a supportive community where students can deepen their knowledge, improve presentation skills, and form lasting friendships with like-minded peers from around the world.
