About this opportunity

NextGen at IIT Bombay is a five-day, day-scholar summer school held on the IIT Bombay campus for students in Grades 8 to 12, offering early exposure to artificial intelligence, robotics, bioengineering, design thinking, and innovation.

The programme combines faculty-led concept sessions with hands-on learning inside IIT Bombay's makerspace, robotics, and bioscience laboratories. Students work alongside IIT Bombay faculty and researchers across departments, moving through each domain in a structured, interdisciplinary format rather than specializing in a single subject area.

The programme is a day-scholar format: participants attend full-day sessions on campus and return home each evening, with no overnight stay included. On completion, participants receive an IIT Bombay Educational Outreach certificate of participation.

Seats are limited each year and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis once the programme fee is paid.
