About this opportunity
Summer Fun for Kids is a short-term residential camp at Nrityagram, the Odissi dance village near Bengaluru. Over six days, children live within the campus and follow a structured routine that blends dance, theatre and outdoor life, away from screens and everyday distractions.
The camp welcomes children aged 7 to 12 years, with places offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions run through the day under adult supervision, and the schedule mixes structured classes with community routines such as gardening and campus care.
Daily sessions cover Odissi dance, movement and theatre, aerial silks, and yoga and body conditioning, guided by resident and visiting instructors. Free time includes nature walks, storytelling and simple shared chores that introduce children to the gurukula way of living.
Participants stay in Kula, the campus residence, with meals and round-the-clock supervision included in the fee. The camp is a standalone introductory experience, distinct from Nrityagram's longer Gurukula and Dance Unlimited training tracks for serious dance students.
