About This Opportunity
The Wandering Applied Rationality Program (WARP) is an intensive, immersive workshop designed for analytically-minded students eager to deepen their understanding of themselves and the world. This program focuses on applied rationality, teaching participants how to improve their thinking, make better decisions, and effectively test their beliefs against reality. It is a collaborative effort between SPARC and FABRIC teams, both recognized for their high-quality educational initiatives.
The curriculum covers a diverse range of subjects, including game theory, cryptography, mathematical logic, AI safety, styles of communication, and cognitive science. Participants engage in sessions that teach concrete subjects alongside experiential learning, fostering self-understanding and effective communication.
The program empowers students with tools to make progress on complex issues, both personal and global, and encourages them to design and run their own content.
WARP aims to help students acquire a valuable toolbox of useful concepts and practical techniques.
