About This Opportunity
Young Technology Scholars Plus (YTS+) is a two-week fully residential summer programme run at the Plaksha University campus in Mohali. The programme is designed for high-school tinkerers, makers, and problem solvers who want a global-style academic exposure to technology, science, and interdisciplinary problem solving.
The programme is open to students in Classes 9 to 12 across all streams, including international applicants. Selection is holistic, based on curiosity and mindset rather than minimum grades, and no prior preparation is required.
Participants begin with an exploratory phase and then choose one of three specialisation tracks: Intelligent Systems and Robotics, Bioengineering and Living Systems, or Data, Decisions and Markets. Faculty members from MIT, Cambridge, LSE, IITs, and IISc lead workshops, hands-on projects, and mentoring sessions.
All participants receive a Certificate of Completion from Plaksha University. The experience combines technical depth with cultural activities and a final Demo Day where students present their projects.
