Ahmedabad Sports Academy (ASA)

Ahmedabad Sports Academy is a sports coaching institution in Ahmedabad, with table tennis as its primary focus. It began as individual coaching in 2010 and was formally established as an academy in 2012, and states it has trained over 8,000 players who have competed from district to national and international levels. The academy delivers coaching through its own dedicated centres as well as at partner schools, residential societies, and via personal home visits, describing a network of more than thirty schools, several evening academies, and over forty societies. Alongside table tennis, it offers badminton, cricket, tennis, football, basketball, karate, yoga, and a toddlers fitness programme. Coaching is positioned around a balance of technical, tactical, mental, and physical training, personalised to each student, and led by founder Bansi Lalcheta with a team of coaches.
