About

The Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) is the premier, government-backed Sector Skill Council for India's automotive industry. It was established to address the critical skills gap and fulfill the demand for highly trained professionals across the sector. Promoted by leading industry bodies such as SIAM, ACMA, and FADA, in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Government of India, ASDC is dedicated to building a robust skilling ecosystem. The council develops industry-aligned qualification packs, training standards, and curricula to ensure that workforce skills remain current and relevant. ASDC offers a comprehensive range of programs, including upskilling, reskilling, and vocational training for both technical and non-technical job roles. Through its extensive network of affiliated training partners, ASDC provides certifications that are highly recognized and valued by the automotive industry, significantly enhancing employment opportunities for India's youth.
