Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana is a distinguished mathematics institute in Pune, India, established in 1976 by the renowned Indian-American mathematician Prof. Shreeram Shankar Abhyankar. The institute is dedicated to advanced research in higher mathematics and provides high-quality education across various academic levels. It is named after the great ancient Indian Mathematician Bhaskaracharya. The institution offers a wide array of programs, including mathematics foundation courses for school students, Olympiad training, and undergraduate and postgraduate training programs. It also organizes annual foundation schools and teacher training programs at regional and national levels. Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana is recognized as a center for conducting the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) for the Maharashtra and Goa regions under the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) since 1992. The institute has a strong track record of students achieving success in national and international mathematical competitions, including the International Mathematical Olympiad.
