Design for Change (DFC) India

Design for Change India is a pioneering educational NGO that empowers children to become agents of change in their communities. The organization utilizes a unique four-step 'Feel, Imagine, Do, Share' (FIDS) framework, inspired by design thinking, to cultivate an 'I CAN' mindset in young individuals. This methodology encourages children to identify local problems, brainstorm creative solutions, implement their ideas, and share their stories to inspire others. Programs offered by Design for Change India are designed for children aged 8 to 18. These initiatives focus on developing essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, empathy, problem-solving, and leadership. Founded in 2009 by Kiran Bir Sethi, Design for Change originated from the Riverside School in Ahmedabad.
