IJSO Executive Committee

The IJSO Executive Committee (EC) is the coordinating body for the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO), a prestigious annual science competition designed for students aged 15 and under. The EC, composed of the President, Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, and Head of Administration Centre, meticulously oversees the global operations of the IJSO. This includes coordinating with host countries, ensuring strict adherence to the Olympiad's statutes, and actively promoting its objectives worldwide. The IJSO aims to ignite a passion for natural sciences, encourage scientific careers, and foster international friendships and collaborations among young, gifted students. The competition features challenging theoretical and practical examinations across physics, chemistry, and biology. The EC plays a vital role in upholding the educational integrity and expanding the international reach of this esteemed event, which has engaged participants from over 80 nations since its establishment in 2004.
