About
India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML) is a public exhibition and convention venue company that plans, builds, and operates large-scale trade fairs, conferences, and business events across sectors including handicrafts, education, technology, and manufacturing. It manages a purpose-built venue offering multiple exhibition halls, meeting rooms, a business centre, and permanent showrooms for exhibitors and visiting buyers. The project was approved in 1999 by a committee of secretaries headed by the Cabinet Secretary to boost export potential in India's cottage and handicrafts sector, and the company was incorporated in 2001. The venue was formally inaugurated by then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in 2006. IEML holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications, and is a member of UFI (the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry), ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association), the Indian Exhibition Industry Association, CII, FICCI, FIEO, EEMA, and the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. IEML hosts around 170 events a year, including its own branded events such as the IHGF Delhi Fair (handicrafts and gifts), Bharat Shiksha Expo (education), Elecrama, Auto Expo, CPHI & P-MEC India, and Print Pack India, drawing exhibitors and visitors from across India and overseas.
