Institute of Hotel Management Aurangabad (IHM-A) is a premier hospitality education institution established in 1989 through a collaborative vision shared by Dr. Rafiq Zakaria and the Taj Group of Hotels. The institute is jointly managed by the Maulana Azad Educational Trust and Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), combining academic rigour with hands-on industry exposure within an active training environment. IHM-A offers undergraduate programmes in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts, both affiliated with the University of Huddersfield, UK, and approved by AICTE. Students train in industry-grade culinary labs and facilities managed in collaboration with major hospitality brands including Oberoi, ITC, Hilton, Accor, and Ginger Hotels. The institute has placed graduates with leading hospitality chains across India and internationally for more than three decades. Its flagship Ginger Leadership Program enables high-performing graduates to reach General Manager positions within five years, reflecting its commitment to producing transformative industry leaders.
