About

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a nonprofit educational foundation established in Geneva, Switzerland in 1968. It develops and offers four internationally recognized programmes for students aged 3 to 19: the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme, and Career-related Programme. Operating through a global network of over 5,000 authorized IB World Schools across more than 100 countries, the IB's mission is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
