Bose, the institute identifies and supports meritorious students in science, engineering, and medicine through prestigious scholarship examinations. JBNSTS is renowned for its comprehensive talent search programs, including the Junior Talent Search Test for Class 11 students and the Senior Talent Search Test for undergraduate aspirants. It also offers the 'Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti' scholarship, a special initiative to encourage and support girl students pursuing science education, backed by the Government of West Bengal.
