About
The Karnataka State Rifle Association (KSRA) is a premier organization dedicated to promoting and developing shooting sports in Karnataka. It provides state-of-the-art shooting ranges and facilities, including 10-meter indoor air gun ranges, 25-meter pistol ranges, 50-meter ranges, and trap and skeet ranges. These facilities were renovated between 2009 and 2011 to meet international standards with electronic target shooting equipment. KSRA offers various training programs, including the Civilian Rifle Training Course, which is mandatory for obtaining an Arms License. The association aims to identify and nurture talent, preparing shooters for national and international competitions. The association has a strong track record of producing national and international medal-winning shooters who have brought laurels to the country. KSRA regularly hosts state-level shooting competitions and championships, contributing to the growth of the sport in the region.
