The Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation (KSLOF) is a distinguished non-profit environmental science organization committed to the preservation and restoration of the world's oceans. Founded in 2000, the foundation operates on a mission of "Science Without Borders®," utilizing research, education, and outreach to promote ocean health on a global scale. Central to its educational mission is the annual Science Without Borders® Challenge, an international art contest open to all students aged 11-19. This initiative encourages young minds, including those in India, to engage with ocean conservation themes creatively, fostering a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems. Winners of the competition are awarded scholarships of up to $500. The foundation provides a wealth of free educational resources, including an award-winning Coral Reef Ecology Curriculum designed for K-12 students and teachers.
