Krea University

Krea University is a private, non-profit institution established in 2018 under the Andhra Pradesh Private Universities Act. It is sponsored by the IFMR Society, a not-for-profit organization with over 50 years of legacy in management education and research. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through two schools: the School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences (SIAS) and the IFMR Graduate School of Business (IFMR GSB). Its distinctive Interwoven Learning approach combines arts with sciences and thought with action, developing critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary competence. Located on a 40-acre residential campus in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, Krea draws students from over 50 cities and 18 states across India. The campus provides modern facilities including air-conditioned residences, a 110,000 sq ft academic building, and sports infrastructure. Krea's Governing Council includes prominent figures such as Raghuram G. Rajan, Nobel laureate Esther Duflo, Anand Mahindra, and Sajjan Jindal. The university houses multiple research centres including J-PAL South Asia and LEAD, reinforcing its commitment to research-driven education.
