Minerva Academy FC

Minerva Academy FC is one of India's foremost youth football academies, founded in 2005 and led by director Ranjit Bajaj. It cultivates young athletic talent with the aim of nurturing both exceptional footballing ability and principled character, preparing players to represent India on the global stage. The academy fields dedicated age-group teams from Under-13 to Under-19 and integrates professional training with formal schooling so that young footballers can pursue the sport without setting aside their education. The academy holds elite category accreditation from the All India Football Federation and is recognised as a Khelo India State Centre of Excellence by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Its teams won the I-League in 2017-18, becoming one of the youngest clubs to claim the national title, and have lifted the AIFF Under-16 Youth League for three consecutive seasons along with Under-13, Under-18 and Sub-Junior League titles. In 2023 it became the first Indian side to win the Gothia Cup, and its sides have continued to win youth tournaments across Europe. Across more than two decades the academy has produced over 240 players who have gone on to international and professional football, including several in the Indian Super League and the India national team. Beyond its flagship residential program it runs monthly training, a girls program, a Bengaluru centre and coach education, building one of the country's most consistent talent pathways.
