MyGov (Government of India)

MyGov is the Government of India's citizen engagement platform, launched on 26 July 2014. It works with government bodies and ministries to engage citizens in policy formulation and to seek their opinion on topics of public interest. MyGov is part of Digital India Corporation, a Section 8 company under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, with its office at Electronics Niketan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. Citizens take part through discussions, tasks, polls, surveys, blogs, talks, pledges, quizzes and on-ground activities. The quizzes on MyGov Quiz cover national themes, government initiatives and public issues. The National Space Day Quiz is one of them. The logos for Swachh Bharat, the National Education Policy and the Digital India Campaign were crowdsourced through MyGov, and it has sought citizens' inputs on draft policies, among them the National Education Policy and the Data Protection Policy.
