About
Olympic Gold Quest is a not-for-profit programme of the Foundation for Promotion of Sports and Games, founded by Indian sporting legends Geet Sethi and Prakash Padukone to support Indian athletes in winning Olympic and Paralympic medals. The foundation identifies promising athletes and provides them with comprehensive support, including coaching, sports science, equipment, mentoring and a monthly stipend, delivered by a full-time team of physiotherapists, dietitians, mental trainers and coaches. It has supported the training of more than three hundred athletes across Olympic and Paralympic sports. Through its junior scholarship programme, the foundation scouts and grooms young talent toward senior-level and Olympic readiness, working with partner academies and coaches across the country. It has supported leading badminton players including PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal.
