About
Polygence is an educational company founded in 2019 in Stanford, California, by Janos Perczel and Jin Yun Chow. The platform connects high school students with over 3,000 PhD and doctoral researchers across sciences, humanities, social sciences, and mathematics. Students work one-on-one with a dedicated mentor over 3 to 6 months to produce original research they can publish, present, or submit to academic symposia. More than 6,000 students have completed programs, and student work has been featured on over 300 platforms. Through a partnership with UC Irvine, select participants in the Core Advanced track can earn transferable college credits.
