SBI Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of the State Bank of India, is dedicated to driving positive change and fostering socio-economic development across India. Established in 2015, the foundation focuses on impactful initiatives in key areas such as education, healthcare, rural development, livelihood and entrepreneurship, women empowerment, environment, disability and inclusion, and sports. It aims to uplift underprivileged communities and improve their quality of life through a range of programs and strategic partnerships. The foundation operates across all 28 States and 8 Union Territories of India, making resources available to the most vulnerable sections of society. SBI Foundation is committed to ethical interventions that promote growth, equality, and a positive societal impact, aligning with SBI's long-held values of service beyond banking. The organization actively seeks collaborations with like-minded NGOs and partners to amplify its reach and impact, ensuring sustainable and inclusive growth for the nation. Through its various flagship programs like the Asha Scholarship, Youth for India Fellowship, and Gram Seva, SBI Foundation has significantly contributed to national development goals.   • Empowered over 580 change-makers through the Youth for India Fellowship.
  • Provided financial support to 3,198 students through the Asha Scholarship Program, with a commitment to support 10,000 meritorious students nationwide.
  • Launched 'Dialogue in the Dark' center in Mumbai to promote empathy and awareness for persons with disabilities.
  • Felicitated with the “Navabharat CSR Award” by Hon'ble Shri. C. P. Radhakrishnan, Governor of Maharashtra at the 4th Edition of the “NavaBharat CSR Summit & Awards”.
  • Partnered with Akshaya Patra Foundation to support mid-day meal programs, donating INR 88 Lakhs.

  • Constructed 36 farm ponds and 148 bunds, benefiting 132 farmers and facilitating percolation of 11.40 lakh litres of water across 713 acres of farmland through the Raita Bandhu Project.
